Cvinger - Embodied In Incense

[PT] Os Eslovenos Cvinger lançaram o vídeo para a faixa “Embodied In Incense”, retirado do seu próximo trabalho com o mesmo título a sair via Art Gates Records a 23 de Maio (Espanha) e 30 de Maio (Europa e Resto do Mundo). Do próximo dia 18 até 4 de Abril a banda vai percorrer alguns palcos na China com a digressão “The Crusade Of The Black Flame”, de promoção a este novo trabalho. Desolate Pathway - Into The Realms

[PT] Depois de um álbum de estreia baseado numa temática épica como a que podemos encontrar em “O Senhor Dos Anéis”, “Guerra dos Tronos” ou “Vikings”, os Doomsters Britânicos Desolate Pathway encontram-se já a trabalhar num novo registo, desta feita baseado na mitologia Grega. Enquanto isso, apresentaram um EP composto por 2 faixas e limitado a 100 cópias intitulado “Into The Realms”, que pode ser escutado na íntegra (e comprado) na sua página do Bandcamp. \m/ [ING] After a debut album based in epic themes like the ones we can find in “The Lord of the Rings”, “Game of Thrones” or “Vikings”, British Doomsters Desolate Pathway are currently working on a new album, this time based in Greek mythology. In the meantime they have release a 2 track EP limited to 100 physical copies named “Into The Realms”, which can be listened in full (and purchased) at the band’s Bandcamp. \m/

Laurus Nobilis Music 2016

Hoje foi a apresentação oficial da 2ª edição do Laurus Nobilis Music, que irá decorrer entre os dias 22 e 24 de Julho, em Famalicão. Este ano o local escolhido para acolher a conferência de imprensa foi o café-concerto na Casa das Artes.

Passando então ao evento, à semelhança da 1ª edição irão haver 3 dias de música em que cada um será dedicado a uma sonoridade específica: 1º dia: Heavy Metal/Rock Alternativo; 2º dia: Rock/Pop Rock; 3º dia: Músicas do mundo/Étnica. No que ao cartaz diz respeito vão participar as seguintes bandas:

• 22 de Julho: Moonspell - Bizarra Locomotiva - Quinteto Explosivo
• 23 de Julho: Aurea - Bloco do Caos - The CityZens
• 24 de Julho: Carminho - Luar Na Lubre - Kwantta

Apesar de só estarem anunciadas 3 bandas/dia, na verdade serão 4. Vai ser realizado um concurso de jovens bandas que irá apurar os nomes que irão preencher essas vagas. Nos 2 primeiros dias haverá DJ sets pós-concerto; sexta os pratos ficaram a cargo de António Freitas e Sábado será a vez de Fernando Alvim.

Como se pode perceber pelas palavras dos oradores, este não é um festival que se pretenda ser igual aos outros mas sim um que procura conquistar o seu espaço no seio das ofertas nacionais, criando dinâmicas e atividades que o distingam dos demais. Today was the oficial presentation of the 2nd Laurus Nobilis Music, to be held at Famalicão from July 22th to 24th. This year the place chosen for the press conference was Casa das Artes’ music hall.

Now about the event, similar to the previous edition there will be 3 days of music, each one dedicated to a specific sonority: 1st day: Heavy Metal/Alternative Rock; 2nd day: Rock/Pop Rock; 3rd day: Music of the world/Ethnic. The line-up will be as follow:

• July 22nd: Moonspell - Bizarra Locomotiva - Quinteto Explosivo
• July 23rd: Aurea - Bloco do Caos - The CityZens
• July 24th: Carminho - Luar Na Lubre - Kwantta

Although they have only announced 3 bands/day, in fact they will be 4. It will be carried out a young bands contest to determine the ones who will fill the gaps. On the first 2 days there will be after concerts DJ sets; Friday António Freitas will be in charge of the plates and Saturday will be Fernando Alvim’s turn.

As we could perceive from the speakers this is not a festival intended to be like all the others yet one than can conquer his space among other national offers by creating dynamics and activities that can distinguish them from the others. [PT] O quarto trabalho dos Brasileiros Maldita, lançado a 23 de Fevereiro passado, já está disponível com distribuição na Europa pela Music In My Soul. “Strangers In A strange Land”, assim se chama o álbum, reúne 14 temas naquele que é seguramente o registo mais ambicioso da carreira da banda e que tem como objectivo principal o de conquistar maior público na Europa, particularmente em Portugal, Espanha e Reino Unido. É certo que nestas coisas não se deve apressar nada para tudo sair bem, mas enquanto fã devo confessar que esperar quase 3 anos (desde o lançamento do brilhante EP “Guerreiros do Metal”) não foi fácil.
