Vagos Metal Fest 2016 [Update]

[PT] Hoje foram apresentadas mais 3 bandas que vão figurar no cartaz da 1ª edição do Vagos Metal Fest. São elas os Norte-Americanos Vektor e os Lusos Bizarra Locomotiva e Heavenwood. Para além disso foi também divulgado o link para a página oficial do evento, que pode ser consultada aqui. Lá terão acesso a todas as informações pertinentes: horários, alinhamentos, direcções, bilheteira e mais. Começa assim a ficar mais composto um cartaz que já dá mostras de ser bastante versátil e de qualidade. Logo que surjam mais informações cá estarei para as divulgar. \m/ [ING] Today were presented 3 more bands that will appear on the poster of the 1st Edition of  Vagos Metal Fest. They are North Americans Vektor and Portuguese Bizarra Locomotiva and Heavenwood. Furthermore was also released the link to the event's official web page which can be accessed here. There you'll have access to every important information: schedules, line up, directions, tickets and more. The poster grows even more and shows a very versatile and quality line up. Porto na rota dos Amon Amarth

[PT] A cidade do Porto vai constar na rota da tournée dos Amon Amarth, de promoção ao seu mais recente trabalho "Jomsviking" (podem ler a minha crítica ao mesmo aqui). A data está marcada para 10 de Novembro e o palco será o Coliseu do Porto. Espera-se mais uma noite de casa cheia, situação habitual em todas as visitas destes gigantes nórdicos. Para mais informações vejam aqui a página oficial do evento. \m/ [ING] Oporto will appear in the route of Amon Amarth's tour to promote the band latest work, "Jomsviking" (you can read my opinion here). The date is scheduled for November 10th and it will take place at Coliseu do Porto. Full house is expected, usual in all visits of these northern giants. Sojourner - Empires Of Ash

Talking with Paco Ventura about Black Moon

Um desses músicos é o guitarrista Espanhol Paco Ventura, que foi capaz de reunir alguns dos melhores guitarristas e cantores de rock/hard rock num ambicioso projecto intitulado “Black Moon”." Vagos Metal Fest 2016

[PT] Nos últimos anos a pacata vila de Vagos tornou-se um ponto de encontro para os amantes de sonoridades mais pesadas vindos não só de Norte a Sul do país como também do estrangeiro. Essa irmandade foi abalada pela notícia da mudança do festival para outras paragens, motivando críticas e causando tristeza. Mas logo ficou uma promessa: a música pesada não iria deixar Vagos! E o resultado está aí, com o anunciar da 1ª Edição do Vagos Metal Fest, a decorrer no fim-de-semana de 13 e 14 de Agosto. O cartaz conta já com 4 nomes: Godvlad, Discharge, R.A.M.P. e Dark Funeral. Esta assim lançada a primeira pedra nesta fundação metaleira, que se espera que venha a ter muito sucesso. \m/ [ING] In the past years the tranquil village of Vagos became a gathering point for lovers of heavy sonorities coming not only from North and South of the country but foreigners as well. This brotherhood was shaken by the news stating that the festival was moving to another place, incentivizing critics and causing sadness. But right there a promise has been made: heavy music wouldn’t leave Vagos! And here’s the result, the announcement of the 1st Vagos Metal Fest taking place during the weekend of August 13th and 14th. The bill has already 4 bands: Godvlad, Discharge, R.A.M.P. and Dark Funeral. It is thus launched the first stone of this metal foundation which is to be expected successful.  \m/

Underworld Fest II

[PT] É já a 4 de Junho próximo que o Another Place vai receber a 2ª edição do Underworld Fest, festival de cariz social e cultural que visa promover artistas e projectos do underground nacional e que nesta edição conta com sonoridades que variam entre o rock, death,  thrash, metal e progressivo, entre outros estilos, mas sempre com muito groove. As bandas que vão actuar este ano são: Dai Dich, In Vein, Burned Blood, Diabolical Mental State, Hang The Traitor, Acts Of Hate, Destroyers Of All, Cheers Leaders, EarthquakE 55 e Veinless. A entrada custa apenas 5€   \m/ [ING] Next June 4th will be the day that Another Place will welcome Underworld Fest II, social and cultural oriented fest which aims to promote projects and artists working on Portuguese underground scene and this years edition will have sonorities like rock, death,  thrash, metal and progressive, among others but always with a lot of groove. The bands acting this year will be: Dai Dich, In Vein, Burned Blood, Diabolical Mental State, Hang The Traitor, Acts Of Hate, Destroyers Of All, Cheers Leaders, EarthquakE 55 and Veinless.
